Perfect family getaway!
It was super clean and had everything we needed for our kids. The small garden was perfect for them to play in. Had lunch at the bar – simple menu but good food! Only thing was the checkout time was way too early for us with little ones running around.

The Two-Bedroom Lodge offered excellent cleanliness and was well-appointed with a functional kitchen. Loved the spacious layout, perfect for our family, and the secure garden kept the kids entertained. The heating was effective, which was a plus. However, we faced issues with the weak Wi-Fi that dropped frequently. Also, the checkout time at 10 am felt too early, especially after a longer stay. On top of that, the noise levels between lodges were noticeable at times. Overall, the stay was enjoyable, but these areas could improve for a better experience.

Families not as child-friendly as they would like you to believe
We stayed in one of those spacious lodges, plenty of room for the kids to run around,, even had a nice living area with a kitchen that had all the mod-cons you need. The staff were friendly but kinda vague about the kids' club details,, which could've helped us a lot.
Not exactly budget-friendly but acceptable, considering the amenities.

The location is perfect for easy access to the charming town with its lively atmosphere and lovely pubs. The kids loved the pool and the added bonus of tidy, private gardens to play in made it even better.
Early checkout.

Loved the spacious lodge with clean amenities and a cozy fire log! The variety of facilities made our stay so enjoyable, not to mention the free EV charging was a delightful surprise.
The lodge was a bit dark. I was half expecting a gnome to pop out from under something! And good luck finding a place to put your socks without mastering the art of 'slip and slide. '
